Industry Application
Melting and holding furnaces for aluminium, zinc and light alloys, with low metal loss, gentle stirring and ±5 °C holding for die-casting cells.
Aluminium is unforgiving of a melting practice designed for steel. Excess power density burns metal, aggressive stirring folds oxide skin into the bath, and a poorly controlled holding furnace turns a good melt into a scrap casting.
The GWL series runs at a frequency and power profile developed for aluminium, giving controlled stirring that homogenises without entraining oxide, and a holding mode that keeps a die-casting cell supplied at a stable temperature between shots.

The three problems that decide whether an installation in this industry pays for itself or becomes a maintenance liability.
Induction melting under a controlled power curve loses substantially less metal than a fuel-fired reverberatory furnace, where the burner flame is in direct contact with the bath surface.
Low frequency gives a gentle, controlled stir that homogenises the bath without pulling the oxide skin under — the defect source that shows up later as inclusions in the casting.
Holding mode maintains ±5 °C at the bath, so shot-to-shot fill behaviour stays constant instead of drifting through the shift.
The configurations we most often specify for aluminium & non-ferrous operations.
