Product Details

Copper melting is a conductivity problem: copper couples well, so power density has to be controlled to avoid overheating the bath surface while the charge below is still solid. The GWT series uses a frequency and power profile matched to copper's resistivity, giving fast melt-down without localised superheat.

Brass and bronze release zinc vapour at melting temperature. We supply a hooded extraction canopy and, on request, a bag filter unit, so the workshop stays within occupational exposure limits and the zinc oxide is recovered rather than vented.

Typical duty is continuous casting of copper rod and billet, brass valve and fitting foundries, and bronze bushing production.
