Induction Heating Systems · FL-IH-BIL
GTR series through-heating line for round and square billets, with pyrometer control, hot and cold reject gates and press synchronisation.
The GTR series is our medium-frequency induction forging heating range. A billet heater brings the whole cross-section to forging temperature with a controlled core-to-surface differential, which is what a press needs to avoid centre defects on the first blow.
Handling is a walking beam or pinch-roll feed with a heat-up section and a soaking section. Billets that fall outside the temperature window are diverted by an automatic reject gate before they reach the press — the single most valuable feature on the line, because a cold billet costs a die.
The line synchronises with the press so heating stops when the press stops, and restarts on a controlled ramp. That avoids the overheated billets a gas furnace produces on every stoppage.
