Model & Technical Parameters

Standard models below. Capacity, power and frequency are matched to your alloy, output and grid at the quotation stage — non-standard ratings are built to order.

Technical values require confirmation against the final equipment configuration. Larger capacities are built to order. Melting rate is measured on cold clean scrap steel charged to a 1,600 °C tapping temperature with a new lining, and depends on charge density, holding time and lining condition.

Product Details

The steel-shell furnace is built around a welded steel frame carrying laminated silicon-steel yokes that close the magnetic circuit outside the coil. Compared with an aluminium-shell design of the same capacity, stray field is lower, structural rigidity is higher, and coil life under continuous three-shift operation is significantly longer.

The crucible profile follows established international furnace geometry and was set through computer analysis rather than copied from an existing shell, which is what lifts the power factor and electrical efficiency of the coil-to-charge coupling. Body and hydraulic tilting are supplied as one integrated structure.

Tilting is hydraulic, with a 95° pour and a mechanical safety lock. Standard configuration is a two-furnace body sharing one power supply so one body melts while the other is relined — the arrangement that keeps a foundry running seven days a week without a lining-change shutdown.

We supply the furnace as a complete melting station: body, coil, yokes, power supply, capacitor cabinet, water-cooled cable, hydraulic station, closed-loop cooling tower and control desk, plus the lining refractory for the first two linings.
